About
Background
Born in Rhode Island to immigrant parents and growing up in New Jersey, I've always been fascinated by value questions. From Pixar movies to NHL governance debates, I feel the normative represents the crux of who we are, and who we want to be. As a philosopher, listener, and advocate, I believe our most important questions deal with how we express our values - and more deeply, what values we choose to hold in the first place.
Curiosity and Connection
From op-eds to published philosophy, I find that curiosity is necessary to create meaningful work. In particular, curiosity drives us towards connections. Listening to in-person Senate hearings as a policy intern and seeing the subtle connection between antitrust competition law and market morality - that's the form of connective curiosity I value most.
Advocacy and Community
Research and policy briefs represent a certain form of advocacy. But what about advocacy for who gets to think in the first place? I founded OMNIA Philosophy, a nonprofit partnering with the American Philosophical Association and MA Executive Office to bring philosophy to seniors, whose ideas are often overlooked and undervalued. Fundamentally, I believe that advocacy means listening to the ideas of others with intention and purpose.
